Was just sitting on the bus when I got reminded of the function of roots. *sorry ar, science teacher is like that one.* :D

The function of roots is to help the plants to absorb water and nutrients from the ground and help the plant be firmly rooted to the ground.

That reminds me of the 2 illustrations that pastors gave.

One is about breaking the pot and be firmly rooted to the local church, house of God. and the other, the powerful and dramatic illustrations of seeking water and hence bearing fruit.

Trees never had a problem with bearing fruits.
To them, its always about breaking through cement floor, going deeper into the ground to get water. then Fruits will start popping like nobody's business.

Same goes for our Christian walk,
Seek and Receive, desire and yearn for the Living Water of the Lord, the environment and the situations that is happening around you will soon mold you to grow the fruits of the Spirit.

Be expanded, to the left, to the right, Enlarged in capacity and grow stronger Tenacity!

Got to memorize the list of fruits of the Spirit.
Gal 5:22 - 23a
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Hmm... this is a good verse to memorize too... watch yourself...

Gal 5:19 - 21
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders,drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Sleeping

Eating as in Indulging in good food.

Drinking Chocolaty drinks like Pure Chocolate from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. or just Eating Chocolate.

Considering im a really light sleeper who departs from deep sleep really fast, and is extremely obedient to the body alarm clock... im such a poor thing...

hmm... these are 3 things that cant be done together
You cant indulge in good food then go to bed, cos you will grow real fat.

You cant drink those nice nice chocolaty drinks then go to bed cos you can feel the mouth, teeth screaming for plain water, or the teeth will be in horrible condition.

and neither should we be eating or drinking on bed.

Got reminded of what one of my friends said, about not supporting Sun,

not because she is from my church, she is my pastor's wife and all that.

Previously I'm not a big fan of Sun (neither am I now)
But really, look beyond her role as a Superstar.

Its not about how great (or horrible) that voice is,
its not about how cheap (or expensive) that CD is,

its about knowing why she is doing what she is doing.
what she is doing.
and what got her to do what she is doing.

where does her proceed goes to?
if you buy her CD, where does the money goes to?

Ever look at things that way? Sit down and think, why?

Look at the senior pastors, their reactions, the way things are.

I choose to believe :)
the one that has Called and Chose.

update

Was just walking down the hallway,
then it came onto me, I like worship,
I missed the feeling of being in the midst of worship.

What is worship to you?
As it is human beings are the only ones who knows and are able to worship.

I feel worship is being lost in the moment, in the presence of the Lord, when you are just floating away. Oblivious of everything. oblivious of the people around you, oblivious of yourself, your physical pain or emotional pain. Escaped away for a while, having that opportunity of rest. :)

Had a great concert yesterday... *how would it be like if my family members were there?*
It was a great time in the presence of the Lord. :) its great when presence of the Lord just came and swept through the place when Sun sat down and share her own experience.
The very moment when I know He has arrived, the touch of the heart, the tear on the cheeks.
Indeed, He touched me.

What is sexy?
she was asking, "This kind of Sun, are you able to accept?" "Hai ke yi ma?" <- "still can handle?"
Ya! Why not? its human expression of hidden body language, not untasteful porn. Besides she has the figure so...
dunno whats up with people that cant accept.

Really, what is sexy? I feel it isnt about stripping down to reveal Lots of skin, its really about the look of indulgence. Sensual would be a better word to use.
Indulgence in that moment, eyes closed, heart open.
hmm... different people look at sexy differently ba,
whats more important is to be able to handle one's own body, having healthy esteem and confidence.

As a matter of fact, guys who have confidence and healthy esteem can get girls for a good night out more easily even though they are vertically or horizontally challenge.
