1.15pm

:) its 1.15pm in the afternoon,
if Amanda is blogging at this kind of time, it means something is wrong...

Ms Ng is on...

MC for 2 days
after 6weeks, I got my first MC...

Doctor says its because of lack of sleep, immune system low, so the virus gained the upper hand and stole some voice from my voicebox.

To certain extend its good for me also la huh.
Cos the only reason why I will miss school (so far) is if I loss my voice.
A slight hint of it, I will siam already. cos my voice is too precious for me as a choir member, as a teacher.
So its time to sleep sleep sleep and eat fruits.

Oh and ya, as per requested, I put up a tag board.

So much for being on MC, I'm still going back to school later to prepare for a couple of lessons. and going down to another school for competition briefing...

I still love my job~
Love the interaction I have with the kids...

Broken Toys

Just as little children would lift up the broken toys to the adults in their life to mend, I lift up the problems in my life to my Almighty God.

I hang around trying as best as I could to help Him mend my life.

In the midst of the long and tiresome wait, I could not take it anymore...

With tears in my eyes, I snatch my problems back from the Father's hand.

"How could you be so slow" I cried.

He replied, "My child, there is nothing I could do, you never did let go..."

Footprints

One night a man had a dream.

He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Scenes from his life flashed across the sky
and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,
he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his life
there was only one set of footprints.

Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most,
you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints...

That was when I carried you."

date

was just watching the TV,
realized the idea of the difference btw a guy and a girl in a date.

Guys focuse on the bigger picture. the main agenda.
1. Where to go. (good food will be a bonus)
2. Is there seats available (some would not even be bothered about that)
3. End of story.
Perhaps they will check their hair a little before they go out.

Obviously the description above is applicable to guys who does not think, worry, care much about impressing the girl.

and the description below is on girls who bothers about impressing the guy. and Yes all girls wants to win the Golden Honor.

Girls on the other hand,
1. Where to go?
2. Is the scenery nice, got view or not?
3. Is the atmosphere nice? Got candlelight or not?
4. What to wear? Skirt or Jeans?
5. Do I look pretty in that? Does the color compliment me?
6. This bag? That bag?
6. This pair of shoe?
7. What to eat?
8. Will the food affect my slimming plan?
9. Is my make-up still in place?
10. Am I eating too much?
11. Am I too loud?
12. Do I talk too much?
13. Where shall we go after that?
14. Are we going to take a walk?
15. Is he going to send me home? (list from here on is not applicable to girls with good esteem and confident level)
16. Kiss him? Kiss him not?
17. left cheek? right cheek?
18. Do I still wave at him through the window?
19. Did I make a good impression?
20. Is he going to ask me out again?
21. Will he call?

oki, you know what I'm saying. :D

Hmm... should I go look for a girlfriend?
or should I learn not to focuse so much on details?

Oh ya, that list successfully brings out the idea of why going on a dinner (not even a date yet) can be very stressful to girls.

But hey, if you can give us a good time, we can give you a good time too.

it sure takes alot to be a Bimbo~

I'll choose the latter.
Need to learn the importance of not over-working also.

Do you Guys have anything to say?

Perhaps being romantic is about being a little bit more bothered about the details.

update

Hello people~

today my school celebrates Racial Harmony day,
so tts the perfect chance to show off my pupils.

2 of my darlings from my Pri 3 science class.

I've got 3 items to share.

one is about giving the best i have for the things I do.

Was just looking around at the things that are going on,
got reminded of how tt time I took a round trip on the cab just because I forgot to bring wallet.
Just on the cab itself, I was grumbling, then the driver shared about not being a perfectionist bcos alot of time people dont think like you do, if you want everything to be perfect, go according to your way, it would just simpliy be a disappointment trip.

Just like how tt time i too was grumbling at myself for not bringing my wallet to school (NIE) end up have to borrow, and my friend literally used the words "Can you stop being such a perfectionist?"

What matters to me in an immeasurable way may be of a tiny matter to other.

Its just an attitude of life ba.
Are you happy with who you are?
Its not about being happy with the people around you, but the one that is looking back at you in the mirror.

2nd issue.

drawing the line...
tts a big pain in the butt for me.
maybe thats the reason y I cant take lower primary ba.
I tend to be overly familiar with the people around me.
Because of that, the pupils can be real friendly with me.
So much so that the younger ones will simply climb over my head.
Theres a need to be open with the teachers, there too is a need to know the importance of respect and obedience.

3rd issue.

was out for an outing today. was just observing one of the person who served us.
Its really very her very natural. can see that thats the way she is.
The way tt she talk which is not exactly the best, in front of people of prestige status.
It reminds me of myself,
I may be acceptable to many people. im not faked. But still same goes, my behavior may not be desirable.
Like what my leader says, having the need to be more winsome.

Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and you on earth: therefore let your words be few.
(Ecclesiastes 5:2)

it might be things that you just have to say, but is it filtered?

kk, KO le,
time to go le,
thanks for spending time.

Be Bless
Love,
Amanda

dont understand

I dont understand...

had this friend, got hurt before, so closed himself up, put on a happy front. Refused to let people in to help.
So recently, we are expecting a friend's birthday. That Closed up friend of mine planned a Wah Candle Light Dinner surprise thing.

I dont know why, instantly I feel super turn off. (not that I need to be turned on)
But I dont understand, why would someone who is so closed up, do something that will open up a person's heart.

Its like not having the ability to, and yet try to be someone who is.

Just as another friend, who said was in darkness, and yet speak words of comfort to people around.

I dont understand. Am I weird or is this world, just so different, so unexpected, so in-comprehensive-able.

Dont one need to minister and address oneself first before entering into another's life?
Wont they feel that their actions and opinion be unbalance, affected and shifted by their past, or even their present that they choose to not address, choose to turn away from.

Who Am I?
Amanda (oh ya, thats my name)
