31st Mar

Oh i missed reading a good entry, I missed blogging a good entry. :D

anyway, ya, was just walking on the streets, going off to cut my hair, when I got reminded of some things,
Was recalling the trip back home from the Pastor Benny Hinn Choir Practise at Jurong West, took a taxi back, was super blessed, the cab driver, an indian Christian was just sharing his testimonies. We were sharing about how its all about trusting in the Lord.

That reminds me of what Pastor said,
Faith is spelt as RISK
and I came up with one
Trust is spelt as OBEY

Was reflecting on somethings that has been happening, does matured christian fall in small things too? Does matured christian not sin?
Like what Sy Rogers said,
No matter how experienced we are in drivers, even if you have 40 over years of experience in your backpocket, all it takes is just a little reckless driving in that split second to end up in a ditch
But our God is bigger than that. Run to Him, be cleansed, forgiven and walk straight up again.

That led me on to thinking about why is it that some people are not rich while there are many who are so extremely blessed? Of course hard work is a very important and key element.
But really its about knowing how to manage the good money and knowing what the Lord wants you to do with the money He has and is going to place in your hands.

The roads in the kingdom of God is filled with Gold and Silver and Diamonds, these might be considered as riches to us but really, up there they are the sands and the dust on the roads. Why would not God do some simple kicking, a soccer game or two and kick these dust down to us?

Because very simple, are these dust and dirt worthy of our possession since we are children of God? Do we not deserve better? Perhaps the things that the Throne of God is made up of.
But the question is, are we able to handle it? are we able to take up this responsibility?

Would you give the keys of your car to a 3 or 5 year old child who says that he/she knows how to drive?

Open up your eyes and praise God everything you landed in a situation that challenges you to manage your money better. He is one God that cares more for your character than your comfort!

:D

on the note of Gold and Silver.
I think the Heart of God is not made of Gold or Silver, I think its of translucent material, or even better transparent, because as it is written
2 Cor 4:18
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
and God is eternal.

so in as much as we do not like what God may be doing, when we begin to learn to surrender to His Sovereign Will, things will turn out for the better, Praise Him. Praise Him as though you are a Babe.
Because as it is written.
Rom 8:28
"All things happened for the good of those who loved Him and are called according to His purpose. "

Got to fast. Maybe tomorrow or Monday.

Sorry for the lack of updates,
and thanks for coming by, :)

Be Blessed!
Love,
Amanda

Thanks
